GDstudia has designed an innovative playspace at the heart of the early stages of the Oakden Rise development. Thoughtfully integrated with the site’s stormwater management levels, the design enables multi-level play while maintaining full accessibility.

Outlook Park is primarily designed for younger children but includes engaging elements that appeal to older age groups as well. The playspace will feature a bespoke play structure, climbing embankments, a fixed shade shelters, BBQ facilities, an urban forest that encourages nature-based play, and a dedicated kick-about space for informal sports and active recreation, along with a variety of additional play equipment.

As the first playspace within the development, this smaller reserve will serve as a key recreational asset, seamlessly connecting to the future central reserve and district level playspace, which will form the focal point of Oakden Rise’s open space network.
