The City of Unley Council engaged GDstudia to undertake a streetscape upgrade project along Leader Street, between Anzac Highway and Maple Avenue (prior to the railway crossing). The streetscape upgrade project includes Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) elements to improve the management of stormwater runoff and enhance/create a vibrant precinct in the area.

The streetscape upgrade project has improved delineation for traffic movements, formalised on-street parking, created/improved pedestrian safety and movements with kerb protuberances and DDA compliant kerb ramps, improved driver awareness for people cycling on-road, and created/extended connectivity of the Bikedirect Network to Anzac Highway.
